Regional Public Health Coordinator and Homeland Security Program Assistant
Sherry joined the staff in 2003 when the NCRPC began working with the North Central Kansas Public Health Initiative by providing support services in public health emergency preparedness and response planning to 13 county health departments. She continues to serve in that role as Regional Public Health Coordinator. Sherry has worked with the North Central Kansas Regional Homeland Security Council as fiscal agent since 2008 and the Northwest Kansas Regional Homeland Security Council since 2010. She served as the Program Coordinator from 2014-2018. Sherry, a registered nurse, has been involved with public health for many years in various capacities and is a fellow of the Kansas Public Health Leadership Academy. Prior to joining NCRPC, she was the assistant administrator for Cloud and Mitchell County Health Departments and the public health emergency preparedness coordinator for both agencies.
