Jonathan Mitchell - City of Ellsworth
Jonathan joined the NCRPC Board in 2005 after becoming Ellsworth City Administrator. He is responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations, budget preparation and making recommendations for city policies. Prior to entering the public sector, Jonathan worked at the United Way of Junction City/Geary County and the Kansas State University Foundation. He also helped start a nonprofit in Junction City known as Finding Other Resources for Community Enhancement, Inc. (FORCE, Inc.), which was created to help fill the voids left between the private and public sectors. Jonathan is vice president of the Kansas Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration, a member of the Kansas Association for City/County Management and is active with several local committees in Ellsworth. He received a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a master’s degree in public administration, both from Kansas State University. Jonathan is married to Lindsay and enjoys volunteering and watching movies. |
