Roger Otott - Washington County
Roger joined the NCRPC Executive Board of Directors in 2009 after being elected to serve on the Washington County Board of Commissioners in late 2008. Roger farms and operates a cow-calf business southwest of Washington. Prior to his current cow-calf endeavors, Roger and his wife, Nancy had been in the dairy business for 40 years. Born and raised south of Linn, Roger graduated from Linn Rural High School and attended Kansas State University for a year before returning to the county to begin the dairy operation. Roger has served on numerous boards in the past including for his church, hospital and soil conservation among others. Roger and Nancy have four grown children including sons Jeff and Jamie and daughters Carrie and Amy. They have 14 grandchildren, eight of whom live locally. Roger's favorite hobby is going to K-State football games in the fall. For many years they have traveled to all home and away football games, gaining familiarity with the Big 12 conference territory.
