The core planning and development area served by the North Central Regional Planning Commission consists of twelve (12) counties. However, NCRPC staff oversees a number of programs and/or projects that have far reaching impact throughout much of Kansas. Rural Business Development Tax Credit (RBDTC) Program: The NCRPC receives and places 75% state tax credits as a means of raising money for purposes of regional economic development. Here, the NCRPC serves nineteen (19) counties, including cities like Emporia, Junction City, Manhattan and Salina.
