DESCRIPTION:Update – This class has been cancelled!\nCurrently three additional opportunities to take this course are scheduled on the following dates: \n\nMay 14\, 2022 – Salina\nJune 11\, 2022 – Abilene\nJune 25\, 2022 – Beloit\n\n  \n\n  \nThis unique workshop is not offered anywhere else. It is designed to help entrepreneurs move through the challenging “Business Plan” phase of starting a business. It is ideal for folks that already have an idea to start their business and want to do it the right way. It is also a great refresher for owners of a business who may have gotten off on the wrong foot! This workshop will cover the first two (2) phases of the 5-phase startup process. One of the innovations developed by the instructor\, Rick Feltenberger\, is the KansasKanvas™. This innovation guides attendees through the process of identifying the ideal customer\, determining market size\, and much more. We also provide the innovative LivePlan business plan template\, known for helping thousands of people complete a bankable business plan. \n*PLEASE NOTE: A minimum of 5 students are needed to hold the class. If that minimum is not met 48 hours in advance of the scheduled class\, it will be cancelled and we will notify registrants. We will also be monitoring conditions related to COVID-19 and may modify the format if necessary. \nAbout the Instructor:\nRick Feltenberger is Regional Director of the Kansas Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Fort Hays State University. During his business career\, Mr. Feltenberger was a serial entrepreneur and an accomplished Fortune 500 business executive. As an entrepreneur\, Rick started and successfully exited 4 businesses and served as an Advisor-in-Residence for a business incubator where he assisted multiple startups. He is well versed in business plans\, financial management\, debt & equity funding (bank loans and investors)\, developing sales and growth strategies\, and helping business owners Exit With DignityTM when they are ready for the next chapter in their life. \n
