DESCRIPTION:Registration for this class is now closed! \nThis workshop is intended for individuals/business owners interested in creating a new website or updating an existing/out-of-date website. The half-day workshop will give small business owners the opportunity to learn the basics of building and owning a website. The attendees will be hands-on with developing their own site and understanding the process of creating an online presence. \nPlan to bring a laptop computer! \nThe class will walk through: \n\nWebsite basics\nWebsite Do’s and Don’ts\nHow to get started\nPlatforms/Hosting sites to use\nMarketing features to include\nHow to work within the GoDaddy Content Management System\n\nClass size is limited to 8 to allow for more individualized training. Deadline to register is 4/4/2022! \nA waiting list will be kept if registrations exceed that. Swanson and Penka each bring experience in web development and helping businesses improve their online presence. \n\nAbout the Training:\nThe North Central Regional Planning Commission is hosting a series of FREE trainings through June 2022 for residents\, businesses and nonprofits located in the 12-county NCRPC service area including the following North Central Kansas counties: Clay\, Cloud\, Dickinson\, Ellsworth\, Jewell\, Lincoln\, Marshall\, Mitchell\, Ottawa\, Republic\, Saline\, and Washington.
