DESCRIPTION:While nonprofit boards are providing strategic directions for the organization and making big decisions much of the work happens at the committee level. This session will teach about ideal committee structures\, getting committee members on board and how committees really do help your organization grow. \nAbout the Instructor:\nThe Kansas Nonprofit Chamber provides training\, consulting\, support\, and resources to nonprofits across Kansas. Kansas Nonprofit Chamber CEO Cindy Miles has been working with nonprofit organizations for more than 10 years and has served on more than 30 nonprofit and government boards\, committees\, and commissions. She had a career in marketing for 25 years. Cindy has an MBA from Newman University and a BA in Integrated Marketing Communications from Wichita State University.
