Also known as the Section 504 Home Repair program, this provides loans to very-low-income homeowners to repair, improve or modernize their homes or grants to elderly very-low-income homeowners to remove health and safety hazards.

Program offers $5,000 & $10,000 grants to catalyze short-term NetWorked action projects and encourages collaboration among NetWorked participants through cross-sector team building and collective action.

Grants for community-based “quick-action” projects related to housing, transportation, smart cities and public spaces. The goal is to spark change and build momentum to improve livability for people of all ages. Projects must have quick turnaround. Eligible entities include 501(C)(3), 501(C)(4) and 501(c)(6) nonprofits, and government entities.

The program provides $10,000 in startup funding for resident-driven groups in small cities and towns (population 2,500 to 30,000) to implement the Community Heart & Soul model. Grant funding requires a $10,000 cash match from the participating municipality or a partnering organization.

Grant program designed to support local efforts to build and sustain a high quality of life in rural America. Grants are concentrated in four major areas including 1.) Business Development, 2.) Community Development, 3.) Education, and 4.) Telecommunications. Award amounts range from $250 to $5,000. The program is offered in cooperation with NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association and applications must go through the local telephone company. Check with your service provider to see if they are a member of NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association or the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) and if they participate in the grant program.

Grants to non-profits for projects that preserve and create access to historical or cultural resources that document stories of life in Kansas. Goals of the program are to preserve stories that document the human experience; increase public access to our shared cultural heritage; and enhance organizational capacity through the use of a Project Consultant. This program is a partnership between Humanities Kansas and the Kansas Historical Society. Maximum award is $3,500.

This program awards grants to eligible nonprofit organizations that benefit the geographical area of the Masonic Lodge requesting funding. There are six areas of funding for which an organization can apply: Community and Economic Development, Education, Public Safety, Quality of Life, Health and Human Services, and Hunger Relief.
