North Central Regional Planning Commission staff routinely engage and solicit vendors and contractors for various training, equipment and project planning needs of the Regional Homeland Security Councils the NCRPC serves as fiscal agent. The Regional Homeland Security Councils include the following:
- Northeast Kansas Regional Homeland Security Council
- North Central Kansas Regional Homeland Security Council
- Northwest Kansas Regional Homeland Security Council
- South Central Kansas Regional Homeland Security Council
- Southeast Kansas Regional Homeland Security Council
- Southwest Kansas Regional Homeland Security Council
