The North Central Regional Planning Commission, through its NCRPC Housing Initiative, is offering two pilot programs aimed at improving housing. The pilot programs include financial assistance for moderate-income housing rehabilitation and demolition of dilapidated residential structures. The programs are administered by the North Central Regional Planning Commission through a partnership with the Dane G. Hansen Foundation.

Service Locations
The Moderate Income Housing Rehabilitation Pilot Program and Demolition Pilot Program were available this past year to access in the following Kansas counties: Cheyenne, Decatur, Gove, Graham, Republic, and Rooks. Assistance was available on a first come, first served basis and limited on a per county basis. All slots are now full for these locations and applications are no longer being accepted.

Looking Ahead
It is anticipated that the NCRPC Housing Initiative will be expanded to additional counties in the Dane G. Hansen Foundation service area over the next three years, pending funding availability.
